Boarding options to provide for the needs of your horse

24/7 turn out in one of our two large fields for your horse with supplemented hay feedings throughout the day.  Horses are separated for feedings three times per day on a forage based diet with Triple Crown Senior Gold grain added.  Owners may supply their own supplements based on their horse's needs and will be administered throughout the day.  Seasonal blanketing is included.   

24/7 turn out in one of our individual paddock turn outs with supplemented hay feedings throughout the day and shared fence lines to enable your horse to feel like they are still in a herd environment.  Horses are fed three times per day on a forage based diet with Triple Crown Senior Gold added.  Owners may supply their own supplements based on their horse's needs and will be administered through the day.  Seasonal blanketing is included.  

Night turn out in either one of our large field turn outs in a herd or individual paddocks with supplemented hay feedings through the day in a day stall with plenty of shavings.  Horses are fed three times per day on a forage based diet with Triple Crown Senior Gold added.  Owners may supply their own supplements based on their horse's needs and will be administered throughout the day.  Seasonal blanketing is included.

We manage scheduling for farrier, vet, and deworming.  We are available to hold horses for certain services:

Farrier: $15 per trim; $25 per shoeing (5wk schedule)

Vet: $15 standard, but subject to increase with increased needs

Deworming: HVF will charge clients at cost for fecal tests and dewormers as needed 

Saddle fitting: $15 standard, but subject to increase with increased needs

Body clipping: $100.00 per horse due at time of clip

The HVF "Earn Their Keep" Program is offered to boarding clients only!  If your horse qualifies as a lesson horse candidate, Megan will do a few free training rides to assess your horse's rideability and suitability for the HVF Lesson Program.  If your horse seems to be a good fit, you can schedule days with Megan that will work best with your riding schedule that your horse could help teach lessons.  Megan will pay boarding clients 25% of each lesson your horse teaches.
